Character & Charm Describes this Bed and Breakfast Stratford Ontario
This elegant Queen Anne home retains many original characteristics of the Victorian period. Built from yellow brick and stone in 1902 by a retired local farmer and carpenter, the fine details will delight visitors, with arched stained glass windows, the original brass front doorbell, high ceilings, and a wraparound veranda that beckons guests to relax.
Inside period furnishings blend with modern comforts to help guests feel truly at home, including custom Amish dining room table and chairs, a varied art collection, Tiffany lamps, and many original features. Sumptuous gourmet vegetarian breakfasts are served daily, with an emphasis on local farm products, and homemade cookies are available after 4 p.m. in the dining room. Daniel and Kelley, are the latest owners in the 20+ year B&B tradition at 100 Church Street and welcome you to sample our hospitality.
Our bed and Breakfast offers the feeling of a bygone era through ambience and furnishings in its three B&B guest rooms, helping guests to slow down and enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of Stratford. We are only two short blocks from Stratford’s core with its famous theatres, tantalizing restaurants and unique shopping experiences.
“A Stratford Gem – On a quiet street just steps from the town’s central square, this picturesque property is newly refurbished, providing contemporary amenities in a heritage setting. Owners Kelley and Daniel are accommodating and hospitable. We found them willing to go the extra mile to ensure we felt at home in our suite and they had the helpful hints we needed to enjoy Stratford’s multifaceted delights to the full. Scrumptious food as well – several steps above conventional B&B fare. All round, a delightful experience. Highly recommended.” Mark, Victoria, BC.
